Aesthetically pleasing,the smooth, stainless steel rod exudes a high-tech,appearance. The twin, neoprene seat pads adhere to lazer cut, stainless steel bases which are inwardly and outwardly adjustable in width, from 8.25 in. (20 cm.) to 10 in. (25 cm.). Maximum width is 11.25 in. (28 cm.).

Which model should you buy ? Visually the seats are virtually identical. The manufacturer, Spongy Wonder Inc., advise that there are weight limitations for the seats: The MK10A and MK10B both have the same frame, 5/16th of an inch stainless steel, weigh 550 grams, Seat pads for the MK10B, for riders under 180 lbs., seat pads are 3.50 in. wide x 3.50 in. long and 1 in. thick - intended for riders up to 180 lbs. MK10Aweighs 550 grams and pads are 3.75 in. wide x 4.25 in. long and 1 in. thick - suited for heavier riders weighing over 180 lbs.

These hornless bike saddles are not suited for trail riding, trick riding or downhilling, rather they are for use with regular road bicycles on paved roads.

This hornless bike seat will affix to a micro-adjustable seat clamp, found on virtually all modern bicycles. Children's' bicycles, high end and specialized bicycles may not have the usual micro-adjustable seat clamp. If required, a micro-adjustable seat post and clamp can be purchased at most any bicycle shop.

Comfortable? this saddle is very unique and a key feature is the specialized foam pads which have been refined for nearly two decades to what they are today. The seat, in my opinion, is a pleasure to ride and enormously more comfortable than a traditional, horned bike seat. Body weight is transferred from the groin to the ischium (sit bones). The function of this seat is to shift the pressure point of body weight from the delicate groin area to the more robust buttocks (sit bones) and you may experience a short period of sore bum, until your muscles adapt.

The seat installs with ease. Once installed a simple height adjustment to the seat post and handle bars adapted the bike seat to my liking in about 5 minutes.
